Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jaime Pardo made the kick off which started today's match. Raul Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Osvaldo Iago was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. C.A. Caminiaga's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 18th match minute, C.A. Caminiaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Lluc to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Rodolfo Txeru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.A. Caminiaga's Rodolfo Txeru got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Iago went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Iago. Victorino Frasco succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Rodolfo Txeru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Victorino Frasco made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Txeru notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Osvaldo Iago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Victorino Frasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Caminiaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Frasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute Osvaldo Iago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Rodolfo Txeru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victorino Frasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Alan Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Victorino Frasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute Osvaldo Iago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Victorino Frasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Caminiaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Frasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paraguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
