Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ove Adelsköld kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Vennersten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 minutes, Kaj Hellsing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liden FF and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kaj Hellsing kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Felix Vennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Liden FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Liden FF's Sven-Ove Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven-Ove Eliasson having to make a save. Sven-Ove Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. Liden FF's Sven-Ove Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Liden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Sven-Ove Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Sven-Ove Eliasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Sven-Ove Eliasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Sven-Ove Eliasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Sven-Ove Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Vennersten to make the kick off. Felix Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Ove Eliasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute. In the 59th match minute, Liden FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaj Hellsing to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sven-Ove Eliasson could save by the left post. The corner led to Ecuador's Cristian Sancho getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Sven-Ove Eliasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Sebastián Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Ove Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Sven-Ove Eliasson came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sven-Ove Eliasson quite easily take care of the ball. Marcu Vlas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 86 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Ove Eliasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
