Christian Faria showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Faria in the 6th minute of the match. Jacobo Nores was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christian Faria showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. Dito Mineiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the last second Jacobo Nores throw himself and got hold of the ball when Christian Faria in the 24thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 25 minutes into the game, Hector Covarrubias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Locomotiva grena the free kick. In the 25th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. Dito Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Chiquinho Martins, made in the 35th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Locomotiva grena's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Dorian Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Christian Faria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the game, Christian Faria lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Jacobo Nores.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Locomotiva grena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Locomotiva grena's goalkeeper Dorian Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Covarrubias. 60 minutes into the match, Christian Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Locomotiva grena's Dorian Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Locomotiva grena from getting a goal against them. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Faria in the 65th minute of the match. When Christian Faria came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Locomotiva grena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Faria couldn't finish the play. Locomotiva grena's Flavinho Mello was substituted for Dito Mineiro. Locomotiva grena's Tomas Lewandowski was substituted for Precioso Barcaiztegui. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Christian Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Locomotiva grena's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Christian Faria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Faria in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute Christian Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Christian Faria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 90 minutes into the match, Christian Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paraguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Locomotiva grena.
