After 6 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Rönnöfors FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Henry Fagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Per Stenberg struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rönnöfors FF. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Tunström in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Per Tunström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per Tunström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Henry Fagerberg took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Rönnöfors FF's Per Tunström got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henry Fagerberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Henry Fagerberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Joshua Secada in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rönnöfors FF's Per Stenberg. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigvard Biörnberg. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Per Tunström tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute Henry Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Henry Fagerberg made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.

If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sigvard Biörnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. When Per Tunström came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Rönnöfors FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Tunström couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 61st minute of play. After 63 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. In the 64th minute, Henry Fagerberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rönnöfors FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Arne Stor got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Per Tunström. In the 70th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per Stenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Rönnöfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Fagerberg to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. If Henry Fagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Tunström in the 82nd minute of play. Henry Fagerberg scored 6-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute, Salvador Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Hubert Fagrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Henry Fagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute.
