The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Romon Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Hemming Tjørnum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Iago notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victorino Frasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Rodolfo Txeru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Victorino Frasco notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute, Osvaldo Iago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 37 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Iago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 41 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Iago came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Iago in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demonde Jacobson saved Jamaica from getting behind. 47 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Iago notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
The wind increased when Finlay Stair made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, C.A. Caminiaga's Rodolfo Txeru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Txeru in the 58th minute of play. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Iago in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute C.A. Caminiaga were awarded a corner. Victorino Frasco went to the cornerflag to take it. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Frances, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javan Develder's late challenge caught a C.A. Caminiaga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javan Develder helped the player get up and apologised. Javan Develder kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Iago in the 72nd minute of the match. When Romon Oliver fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Romon Oliver a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Victorino Frasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Caminiaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Frasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demonde Jacobson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When C.A. Caminiaga's Delmar Nesto in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jamaica's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a free kick in the 79th minute. Caminiaga's Rodolfo Txeru managed to work through Jamaica's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rodolfo Txeru dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 86 minutes into the game, C.A. Caminiaga's Melchor Frances nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. C.A. Caminiaga's Rodolfo Txeru was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 91st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Frasco went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-13 was the resulting score. 98 minutes into the match, Melchor Frances had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melchor Frances was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-14. C.A. Caminiaga played a much better game than Jamaica and deserved their victory. The Jamaica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
