Kevin Mastache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Derman Soysaldı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matteo Mata. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Matteo Mata sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute, Abram Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Derman Soysaldı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Colombia's Axel Montenegro in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s goalie prevented a goal. Samuel Navarro made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Santino Seco however managed to control. After a rather tough play, ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Mustafa Yaşar Recai got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Mustafa Yaşar Recai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mustafa Yaşar Recai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matteo Mata in the 41st minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The supporters of Colombia booed when ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corné van Basten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Derman Soysaldı was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Abram Sarmiento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 64th minute, Matteo Mata made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. The supporters of ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 minutes of play, ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Matteo Mata made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, Matteo Mata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. Matteo Mata scored 6-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute, Matteo Mata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-3. In the 91st minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derman Soysaldı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
