With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 4th minute, Pontus Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Bograngen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lv Zhen Ning didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. In the 11th minute, Joshua Secada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Dewa Gol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Dewa Gol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 minutes, Pontus Nilsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bograngen and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pontus Nilsson kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Bograngen's Dewa Gol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Bograngen fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Bograngen's Dewa Gol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bograngen's Dewa Gol got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Dewa Gol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 2-0. Guillermo Mariano made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tomas Illescas immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Bograngen's Sverker Kullander got a free kick in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Bograngen made a substitution. Sven-Olof Eklund replaced Erland Stenqvist. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Dewa Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Bograngen's Gabriel Cordero got a free kick in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 91st minute. Bograngen's attentive Sverker Kullander managed to snatch the ball when Guillermo Mariano made a throw-in in the 96th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bograngen had played much better football throughout.
