Haroldo Dante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute of the match, Varban Pavlikyanov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Haroldo Dante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Severiano Arano, made in the 16th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Tarcisio Couto got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Dante was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, Nilmar de Moraes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube Atl. Taquaritinga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 30th minute of the game Severiano Arano made a throw-in which David Lima played forward. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Sá in the 31st minute of play. Haroldo Dante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Haroldo Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of play forced Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Haroldo Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 40th minute of the match. A collision led to Clube Atl. Taquaritinga getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. David Lima hit a great ball. Philippe Alcântara hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The Clube Atl. Taquaritinga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 1-2.

Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 51st minute of play. Severiano Arano made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tarcisio Couto immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to Clube Atl. Taquaritinga getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Philippe Alcântara hit a great ball. When Luz Tejedor came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luz Tejedor couldn't finish the play. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Haroldo Dante made a huge save. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atl. Taquaritinga from getting a goal against them. Eliseo Mina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haroldo Dante having to make a save. 75 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haroldo Dante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tarcisio Couto took the corner. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Rafael Gallo took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Haroldo Dante to make any attempt to save it. In the 95th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Loyola came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Clube Atl. Taquaritinga throughout the match.
