The Prochnost fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Prochnost's Evelio Urbasa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Evelio Urbasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Evelio Urbasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Claudinei Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 25th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Evelio Urbasa made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Feliberto Ted took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Arcan Mansur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Suárez in the 51st minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Prochnost's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Patricio Costa scored to the left of an out of position Claudinei Velloso, making the score, 2-1. Claudinei Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 64th minute. Herminio Asier's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herminio Asier helped the player get up and apologised. Herminio Asier kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evelio Urbasa in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Claudinei Velloso made a huge save. In the 72nd minute of the match Prochnost got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Feliberto Ted ran over to the corner to take the kick. Matías Kranevitter made a great header on Prochnost's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Ted in the 82nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evelio Urbasa in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
