Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Villa Martelli Soc. Fom. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Marin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haroldo Ado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Ado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villa Martelli Soc. Fom.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play forced Villa Martelli Soc. Fom.'s goalkeeper Haroldo Ado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Haroldo Ado. That made the score 1-4 in the 57 minute of play. Villa Martelli Soc. Fom.'s Ulises Rico was substituted for Erubiel Quinton. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute.
