Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. In the 16th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Aslak Schjær:s penalty. Kai Hammerslev came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 25th minute of play forced Rosenhøj Boldklub's goalkeeper Kai Hammerslev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kai Hammerslev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kai Hammerslev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rosenhøj Boldklub's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Felix Montes got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 40 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes Rosenhøj Boldklub got a freekick which was hit by Kristof Sveje. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kai Hammerslev. Kai Hammerslev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Ostersen in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the match, Luis Andino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kai Hammerslev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 60th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Ostersen, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With a little luck, Rosenhøj Boldklub's Kai Hammerslev got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosenhøj Boldklub made a substitution. Pelle Erp replaced Stefan Wahl. Kai Hammerslev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Rosenhøj Boldklub's Christopher Heltø got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 93rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Werner Walcan in the 94th minute of play. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
