Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Boguslaw Gniewek sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Pankiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in MARKAR Dabrowa górnicza's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oto Pattama came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oto Pattama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neymar Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but MARKAR Dabrowa górnicza were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
