After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Ulises Abilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caballo Loco's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Abilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. German Toro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when German Toro came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Oriol hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. German Toro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Hector Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Abilio. After 34 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pardo. In the 39th minute, Pan Song Yong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caballo Loco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Caballo Loco's Pan Song Yong got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for German Toro to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Toro in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. The supporters of Caballo Loco booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Zoido didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Caballo Loco's Pan Song Yong tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Caballo Loco's Pan Song Yong got a free kick in the 66th minute. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Toro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pan Song Yong in the 73rd minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. German Toro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Ulises Abilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Ulises Abilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from German Toro went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute German Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pardo. 89 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Pan Song Yong came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Escribano charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Escribano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. Pan Song Yong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paraguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
