Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abram Sarmiento kicked off to start the match. Mathias de Ruijter made in the 4th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Perivaldo Eger showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Mike Zoetmulder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perivaldo Eger got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Ginneken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Zé Pedro Figueiredo in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Mathias de Ruijter sent off a good shot on target. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mike Zoetmulder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Eger in the 28th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mike Zoetmulder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after De Pelgrims's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. After 37 minutes De Pelgrims's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of De Pelgrims:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Colombia:s goal. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Colombia. Axel Montenegro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mike Zoetmulder. 1-1. 42 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Mike Zoetmulder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mike Zoetmulder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abram Sarmiento went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Perivaldo Eger made a kick off. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huub Gerrits, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Colombia's Orlando Tafalla managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Huub Gerrits in the 61 minute of the game. When Mathias de Ruijter came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the De Pelgrims fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias de Ruijter couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute Perivaldo Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. The corner led De Pelgrims's Fu Peng Feng to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 70th minute Mathias de Ruijter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Huub Gerrits came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes, Kevin Mastache mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colombia and the De Pelgrims players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Kevin Mastache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match Fu Peng Feng shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Manzanares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, De Pelgrims's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kevin Mastache fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for De Pelgrims.
