Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Zigmantas Gimbutas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Quintino Carvalhais came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the SC Braga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintino Carvalhais couldn't finish the play. Zigmantas Gimbutas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Adán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes of play, SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Quintino Carvalhais kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Antonio Adán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Braga's Antonio Adán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 30th minute of play. Quintino Carvalhais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Antonio Adán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Adán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 38th minute of play. Jon-Egil Sætre kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Antonio Adán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joshua Garrido in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

54 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Braga's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. Axel Montenegro shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 58 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goalkeeper Antonio Adán had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintino Carvalhais in the 59th minute of the match. Antonio Adán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 60th minute of play. SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson was substituted for Zigmantas Gimbutas. SC Braga made a substitution. Geraldo Lucas replaced André Jordão. After 65 minutes SC Braga's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. Colombia's Santino Seco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Antonio Adán in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jon-Egil Sætre kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. If Geraldo Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jon-Egil Sætre made in the 74th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Geraldo Lucas immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Abram Secada got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 83rd minute Joshua Garrido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Adán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lu Xun Lei hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Amado Parente. Antonio Adán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 88th minute of the match. Antonio Adán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 91st minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Antonio Adán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, Abram Secada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Braga had won after a very even match.
