The tension between the El Salvador and the Andırın SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luis Rubio hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. İsmail Akyol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. After a defensive mix-up in Andırın SK's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İsmail Akyol came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andırın SK's Karahan Yanal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mateo Leguizamo, made in the 18th minute of the game. Andırın SK's attentive Ahmet Göktuğ Kırca managed to snatch the ball when Valentino Ferrant made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. The throw-in from Valentino Ferrant in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Andırın SK's Ahmet Göktuğ Kırca. After 24 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque. Karahan Yanal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Fernandino in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İsmail Akyol saved Andırın SK from getting behind. Erdinç Talay hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Mateo Leguizamo in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Andırın SK's Karahan Yanal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Necat Süngü to make the kick off. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karahan Yanal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Rubio got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mateo Leguizamo. In the 69th minute of the game Mateo Leguizamo made a throw-in which Moises Fernandino played forward. Karahan Yanal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karahan Yanal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İsmail Akyol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 81st minute. Celal Engiay kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match.
