Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Janusz Trzaskoma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Wlokniarz Czestochowa's goalkeeper Janusz Trzaskoma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Eliseo Mina got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Wlokniarz Czestochowa's Janusz Trzaskoma got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
