Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anders Lövgren kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Chiquito Rico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 6th minute Anders Lövgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mazio f.c. getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Christos Lebesis hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Lövgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anders Lövgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. After having played for 24 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mazio f.c.'s goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Piotr Rekowski got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Mazio f.c. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquito Rico came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chiquito Rico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nektarios Kalkounos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 42 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Mazio f.c. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mazio f.c. made a substitution. Christos Tsouchtras replaced Petros Terzis. In the 44th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Mazio f.c.'s supporters stood up full of expectation in the 47th minute of the game, when Chiquito Rico after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Venezuela's goal. Chiquito Rico was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Anders Lövgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anders Lövgren scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pipis Markomichalis, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Mazio f.c.'s Chiquito Rico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Tomas Illescas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. After 73 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Anders Lövgren took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 4-1 became the score in the 80th minute when Chiquito Rico elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Anders Lövgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Anders Lövgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Pipis Markomichalis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mazio f.c. had played much better football throughout.
