The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guter Tobia in the 29th minute of play. If Guter Tobia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guter Tobia. Marcial Bakar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guter Tobia. 37 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's Guter Tobia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enrique Perico was slow to take the kick. During this time Aves Negras's players had a chance to rest. Aves Negras's Enrique Perico was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 40th match minute, Aves Negras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Urtsin to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Bakar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tamer Yalçıner in the 59th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guter Tobia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcial Bakar was a little too slow when Abram Sarmiento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 2-1. Aves Negras made a substitution. Aaron Gallagher replaced Humberto Urtsin. In the 71st match minute, Aves Negras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Artal to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Manzanares had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Efrain Artal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Marcial Bakar made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Artal in the 82nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Artal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Aves Negras's Marcial Bakar got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcial Bakar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes into the game, Abram Secada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcial Bakar. Abram Secada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
