Michel van der Bij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Gelmiro in the 10th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfredo Gumaro who took care of the corner kick. When Joel Gaona fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Joel Gaona a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ISPARTASPOR U21 booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Suelo De Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Michel van der Bij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Aybar Gürçınar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Aybar Gürçınar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Olcay Tezkan came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Michel van der Bij tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

After 50 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Gumaro in the 51st minute of the match. Michel van der Bij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 53rd minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 53rd playminute. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olcay Tezkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ISPARTASPOR U21 were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Davinson Sanchez took the corner. After taking down the ball on ISPARTASPOR U21's corner Davinson Sanchez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dante Lacasa quite easily take care of the ball. 81 minutes into the game, ISPARTASPOR U21's Olcay Tezkan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The audience was convinced that Mitch Batshuayi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ISPARTASPOR U21 throughout the match.
