Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne Kilström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee ignored AIK FOTBOLL's protests and gave Olov Deckberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Olov Deckberg. After 42 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Bergfelt. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne Kilström. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Morgan Blom made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Arne Kilström in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 52 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arne Kilström.
