Marciano Beturian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of the match. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 崔鹏威 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 汪俊光 was slow to take the kick. During this time 中职联-大连实德's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Joe Gibson. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes in the game Pang Zhen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to 程升西. In the 91st minute, 崔鹏威 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 96 minutes into the match, Joe Gibson notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that 中职联-大连实德 were the better team. 中职联-大连实德's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
