The supporters of Venezuela booed when AIK FOTBOLL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximilian Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Morgan Blom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Ove Kellberg hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per-Oskar Nykvist's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when AIK FOTBOLL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximilian Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 37th minute. Per-Oskar Nykvist struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AIK FOTBOLL. When Maximilian Åström was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 40 minutes had been played. After 40 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Maximilian Åström. In the 44th minute, Per-Oskar Nykvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's Per-Oskar Nykvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Per-Oskar Nykvist took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A throw-in in the 66th minute of the game was made by Jörn Hylander with Alvin Bergfelt as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Axelsson in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Michel Bergendahl threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Axelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 76 minutes of play, AIK FOTBOLL's Fredrik Axelsson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fredrik Axelsson went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 90 minutes, Andréas Fransson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AIK FOTBOLL and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AIK FOTBOLL getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Andréas Fransson hit a great ball. Fredrik Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Many of Venezuela's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Venezuela may have spent more time on the ball, but AIK FOTBOLL were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
