Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kazimierz Dylla in the 4th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Podolski having to interfere. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Podolski having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryszard Pilipiec in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After 12 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Radoslaw Trojanowski who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Pogoń Stawiszyn's corner Ryszard Pilipiec fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Pilipiec, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gilbert Podolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilbert Podolski. Pogoń Stawiszyn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gilbert Podolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Ryszard Pilipiec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Pogoń Stawiszyn fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Pogoń Stawiszyn's Ryszard Pilipiec looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 25 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilbert Podolski came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play forced Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Gilbert Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Ryszard Pilipiec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Ryszard Pilipiec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radoslaw Trojanowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 played minutes Pogoń Stawiszyn got a freekick which was hit by Radoslaw Trojanowski. After some careless play in the Pogoń Stawiszyn defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilbert Podolski. The Pogoń Stawiszyn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilbert Podolski should have stopped the shot. Kazimierz Dylla in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 44th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Gilbert Podolski. Pogoń Stawiszyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ryszard Pilipiec to make the kick off. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Gilbert Podolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 52nd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Gilbert Podolski. Pogoń Stawiszyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Podolski having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Dylla in the 62nd minute of play. Gilbert Podolski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 63rd minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Podolski having to interfere. Gilbert Podolski made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Gilbert Podolski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Pogoń Stawiszyn from getting a goal against them. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Dylla came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilbert Podolski made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Dylla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gilbert Podolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilbert Podolski. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Gilbert Podolski in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilbert Podolski was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-8. After having played for 90 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Pogoń Stawiszyn:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gilbert Podolski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 98th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Pogoń Stawiszyn fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
