Winter is coming
Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Atletico Kankero's Beppe Faiella started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Ernesto Ferri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th play minute Amos Urbani came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 1-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amos Urbani in the 12th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Ferri, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ernesto Ferri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Comunardo Marsili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Amos Urbani succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 20th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Amos Urbani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Kankero's supporters rose to their feet, but Amos Urbani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Beppe Faiella could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. Attilio Marchesani kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Ernesto Ferri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Atletico Kankero's Beppe Faiella fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Attilio Marchesani during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Attilio Marchesani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After a rather tough play, Atletico Kankero's Ernesto Ferri got a free kick in the 51st minute. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe Faiella came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beppe Faiella took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Kankero's Franco Carrea. But to his dismay, Franco Carrea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. A collision led to Atletico Kankero getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ercole Munno hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Comunardo Marsili successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedele Pedroni, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Comunardo Marsili. That made the score 4-1 after 75 minutes of play. Atletico Kankero's Comunardo Marsili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 77th minute of play. Comunardo Marsili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beppe Faiella in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute Atletico Kankero were awarded a corner. Frank Fabiani went to the cornerflag to take it. Atletico Kankero's Frank Fabiani was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Marsili having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Urbani in the 92nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Atletico Kankero were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
