Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin da Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin da Fonseca came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josué Vaz made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ionuț Iniesta. Cui Ling Jing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. When José Pedro Borges fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pesqueira City's protests and gave José Pedro Borges a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pesqueira City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Mădălin Lunca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin da Fonseca went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, José Pedro Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pesqueira City's supporters rose to their feet, but José Pedro Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pesqueira City made a substitution. Jeremias Orland replaced Fabian Hansson. Pesqueira City's Luiz Pesquera was substituted for Cristiano Bezerra. Pesqueira City's Mădălin Lunca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Benjamin da Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 77th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Benjamin da Fonseca notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pesqueira City's Mădălin Lunca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 82nd minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 86th minute of the match. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. The audience was convinced that Benjamin da Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Jeremias Orland hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Peru's Rafael Gallo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Benjamin da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0.
