The referee ignored GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's protests and gave Iwo Kuszczak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Iwo Kuszczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Kuszczak in the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krzysztof Prus got free with Benito Sanz in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krzysztof Prus in the 25th minute. Jan Turek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 27th minute of the match. Krzysztof Prus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Stefan Pryputnicki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Krzysztof Prus to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Krzysztof Prus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Krzysztof Prus put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Stefan Pryputnicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere.
