Aristides Barea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of play. O rey Iván's Aristides Barea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihály Fülep got free with Rolando Noboa in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Barea saved O rey Iván from getting behind. Aristides Barea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Mihály Fülep recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aristides Barea came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. O rey Iván's Aristides Barea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of play. Aristides Barea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 33rd minute of the match. The O rey Iván players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Mihály Fülep hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Barea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 54 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. O rey Iván's Alejandro Ponciano was substituted for Modesto Garcia. O rey Iván made a substitution. Ivan Lizar replaced Mihály Fülep. O rey Iván's Pastor Martxot was substituted for Dionisio Orland. Alejandro Ponciano got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ivan Lizar. Eliseo Mina was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Peru's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Aristides Barea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aristides Barea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. With an all-out effort, Peru's Aristides Barea threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The throw-in from Alejandro Ponciano in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Rafael Gallo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joaquin Prats's late challenge caught a O rey Iván's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Prats helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Peru fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Rolando Noboa had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Ivan Lizar's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Milagros Fraga. Peru's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
