After a rather tough play, Roncourt's Marouane Kiefer got a free kick in the 6th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean-Marc Kazmierczak got free with Dante Lacasa in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 10th minute of play forced Roncourt's goalkeeper Brian Fumey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florent Blanc's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florent Blanc helped the player get up and apologised. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Marc Kazmierczak in the 22nd minute of play. Brian Fumey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Roncourt's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Brian Fumey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 31st minute of play forced Roncourt's goalkeeper Brian Fumey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves J.P. Kapar could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. Jean-Marc Kazmierczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Marc Kazmierczak made a kick off. In the 56th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Fumey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Roncourt defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brian Fumey. The Roncourt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brian Fumey should have stopped the shot. Roncourt made a substitution. Romuald Benaissa replaced Horácio Larreta. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.P. Kapar in the 64th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from J.P. Kapar in the 87th minute of the match. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Roncourt had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
