Venezuela's attentive Salvador Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Asım Arif Tercan made a throw-in in the 7th minute of the game. In the 8th minute, NiğdeBeşiktaş's Raşit Sırat dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Raşit Sırat came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 12 minute. Raşit Sırats short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 22 minutes into the game, Raşit Sırat lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. Raşit Sırat's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Özalp Cezlan was slow to take the kick. During this time NiğdeBeşiktaş's players had a chance to rest. The corner led NiğdeBeşiktaş's Özalp Cezlan to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 27th match minute, NiğdeBeşiktaş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mümin Oncel to maneuver through the defense. Raşit Sırat did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 29 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Raşit Sırat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Resul Erentürk got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. NiğdeBeşiktaş's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Özalp Cezlan in the 37th minute. The corner led NiğdeBeşiktaş's Özalp Cezlan to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 45th minute, Raşit Sırat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. NiğdeBeşiktaş's Müfit Totuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 51st minute of play. Raşit Sırat struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NiğdeBeşiktaş. In the 62nd minute of the match NiğdeBeşiktaş got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Özalp Cezlan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raşit Sırat in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Asım Arif Tercan got a throw-in 73 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Resul Erentürk. After having played for 74 minutes, Yunus Yamaner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NiğdeBeşiktaş's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yunus Yamaner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raşit Sırat in the 75th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Asım Arif Tercan in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. 83 minutes into the game, NiğdeBeşiktaş's Raşit Sırat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. NiğdeBeşiktaş had won after a very even match.
