Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 5th minute of the match Someliéri got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oliver-James Gol ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Someliéri's corner Oliver-James Gol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. After 6 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. Giotis Michailidis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Giotis Michailidis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Someliéri's goalkeeper Edvin van der Saar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Someliéri got a freekick which was hit by Ladislav Chmelo. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Giotis Michailidis sent off a good shot on target. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Edvin van der Saar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play forced Someliéri's goalkeeper Edvin van der Saar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvin van der Saar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin van der Saar having to interfere. In the 41st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Someliéri's Argi Villar fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 47 played minutes Someliéri got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Laurendi. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver-James Gol in the 54th minute of play. After 64 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oliver-James Gol who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Someliéri's corner Oliver-James Gol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74thth minute of the game Giotis Michailidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giotis Michailidis took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giotis Michailidis in the 94th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Someliéri were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
