Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Moises Fernandino started the match with the kick off. Matei Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 8th minute of the match. Moises Fernandino scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matei Rotariu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Pitiș in the 14th minute of play. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Fernandino in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matei Rotariu saved Steaua Somcuta MM from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Pitiș during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, George Pitiș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gheorghe Ţopescu hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match Mateo Leguizamo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matei Rotariu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jorge Magrina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Matei Rotariu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Steaua Somcuta MM's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Matei Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Abram Luque charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abram Luque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matei Rotariu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moises Fernandino went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Steaua Somcuta MM booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Iacob Prisecaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Abram Luque came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Luque couldn't finish the play. Dacian Săvulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when George Pitiș came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Matei Rotariu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. 78 minutes into the match, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matei Rotariu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. El Salvador's Abram Luque got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Steaua Somcuta MM's Gheorghe Ţopescu got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Steaua Somcuta MM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Prisecaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Leontin Zdrehuş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Leontin Zdrehuş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. El Salvador had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
