After 8 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. After having played for 9 minutes, Clemente Anaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahçe51's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Anaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Anaya got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 16th minute. Fenerbahçe51's Mahir Sanak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Genco Pakel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 25th minute, Fenerbahçe51's Edgar Oneț ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Clemente Anaya came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 30 minute. After 38 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Fenerbahçe51 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. The audience was convinced that Edgar Oneț's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Seyfullah Ezgü's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seyfullah Ezgü helped the player get up and apologised. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Edgar Oneț came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Fenerbahçe51 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Oneț couldn't finish the play. Fenerbahçe51's Edgar Oneț got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Fenerbahçe51's Edgar Oneț in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Fenerbahçe51's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Oneț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fenerbahçe51 fully deserved thier win.
