Mazhar Akıncıbeyoğlu was slow to take the kick. During this time GÖKHAN FK's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eray Parshan got free with Julio Vera in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Furkan Çakıroğlu in the 29th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zikri Umar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute, Gazanfer Ahi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Recep Talha Özil kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. GÖKHAN FK's Zikri Umar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. Zikri Umar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Zikri Umar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute. Zikri Umar made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Zikri Umar in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Furkan Çakıroğlu took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Furkan Çakıroğlu's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Zikri Umar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 73 minute of play. Mazhar Akıncıbeyoğlu hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The GÖKHAN FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
