Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when George Pitiș made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th match minute, Steaua Somcuta MM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leontin Zdrehuş to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when George Pitiș came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Covarrubias scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matei Rotariu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paraguay's attentive Juan Diego Tenorio managed to snatch the ball when Iordache Pârvuță made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Steaua Somcuta MM's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matei Rotariu came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Alan Campos hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the game, Jaime Pardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Matei Rotariu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute, Primitivo Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, George Pitiș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and George Pitiș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Pardo to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Hector Covarrubias sped through Steaua Somcuta MM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matei Rotariu. 58 minutes into the match, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matei Rotariu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Primitivo Escribano got free with Matei Rotariu in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 71 minutes, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Covarrubias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matei Rotariu stood somewhat misplaced when Jaime Pardo came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 72 minute. 77 minutes into the game, George Pitiș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Pitiș in the 79th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Covarrubias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matei Rotariu having to make a save. 89 minutes into the game, Panait Unciuleanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Steaua Somcuta MM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Steaua Somcuta MM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Unciuleanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Pardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matei Rotariu having to make a save. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Unciuleanu in the 94th minute of play. Paraguay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
