After taking down the ball on GÖKHAN FK's corner Mazhar Akıncıbeyoğlu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. GÖKHAN FK's Zikri Umar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 5th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nae Groșan in the 6th minute. Ant Beksan made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Nae Groșan immediately put the ball in play. 10 minutes into the match, GÖKHAN FK's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Zikri Umar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Zikri Umar. GÖKHAN FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Furkan Çakıroğlu came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zikri Umar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of the match. Nae Groșan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The goalkeeper, Jonathan Ferrant, was totally fooled by GÖKHAN FK's Mazhar Akıncıbeyoğlu, who 31 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 39th match minute, GÖKHAN FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazhar Akıncıbeyoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Ant Beksan kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zikri Umar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Furkan Çakıroğlu made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Furkan Çakıroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mazhar Akıncıbeyoğlu was slow to take the kick. During this time GÖKHAN FK's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Muammer Bedel managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when GÖKHAN FK's Furkan Çakıroğlu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Gazanfer Ahi kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zikri Umar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zikri Umar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to GÖKHAN FK getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ant Beksan hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of GÖKHAN FK booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
