Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Brite McCready came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute of the game Oleg Cetinja made a throw-in which László Tar played forward. After 7 played minutes HIT Gorica got a freekick which was hit by Oleg Cetinja. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duško Turnšek's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 24th minute, Oleg Cetinja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. László Tar made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute Duško Turnšek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes HIT Gorica got a freekick which was hit by Zlatko Goričan. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Venezuela booed when HIT Gorica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duško Turnšek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duško Turnšek scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 59 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. After 63 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. HIT Gorica made a substitution. Quentin Willmott replaced Constantino Eguntsenti. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Istok Šabotić managed to get in a good position for a shot. HIT Gorica's supporters rose to their feet, but Istok Šabotić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when HIT Gorica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oleg Cetinja didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72ndth minute of the game Istok Šabotić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Istok Šabotić went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Antoni Zdrojewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatko Goričan in the 83rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. László Tar kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Istok Šabotić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to HIT Gorica getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. CJ Desailly hit a great ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that HIT Gorica were the better team. HIT Gorica's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
