Silviu Lung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Niculae Podgoreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niculae Podgoreanu in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Silviu Lung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. Dan Chirilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Viper eSports's Xander-Paul De Coster got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silviu Lung narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niculae Podgoreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Bordeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Silviu Lung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silviu Lung came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silviu Lung breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niculae Podgoreanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Niculae Podgoreanu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 36th minute. Niculae Podgoreanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. -BZF- Viper eSports's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dan Chirilă in the 41st minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niculae Podgoreanu's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute, Niculae Podgoreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 65th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. -BZF- Viper eSports's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silviu Lung in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Niculae Podgoreanu came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the -BZF- Viper eSports fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niculae Podgoreanu couldn't finish the play. -BZF- Viper eSports's Silviu Lung proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Viper eSports from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute of the match Dan Chirilă sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Niculae Podgoreanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dan Chirilă was slow to take the kick. During this time -BZF- Viper eSports's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to -BZF- Viper eSports's Vintilă Moiș getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a little luck, -BZF- Viper eSports's Silviu Lung got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when -BZF- Viper eSports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Neacșu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silviu Lung made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Edgar Chelbea hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The -BZF- Viper eSports fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ecuador had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
