Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Aurelio Mederi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Mederi came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Mederi, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Flavius Dragotescu made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Costică Chiriloaie. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C. Milan's goalkeeper Costin Giugiuc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costică Chiriloaie in the 14th minute. Aurelio Mederi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Dumitru Zdrăilă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.C. Milan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Costin Giugiuc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of play. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.C. Milan's Costin Giugiuc did a great save. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Mederi came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of A.C. Milan booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costică Chiriloaie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Costică Chiriloaie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Aurelio Mederi in the 45th minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelio Mederi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costin Giugiuc made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute, Tomas Illescas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Costin Giugiuc. The goal made the score 2-1. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costică Chiriloaie in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Costică Chiriloaie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Emil Gheară's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costică Chiriloaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 77 played minutes A.C. Milan got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Nichita. In the 79th minute of the game Flavius Dragotescu made a throw-in which Costică Chiriloaie played forward. After 92nd play minutes Aurelio Mederi shot 5-1, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Dumitru Zdrăilă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There was no doubt that A.C. Milan were the better team. A.C. Milan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
