Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fraser Tynan in the 7th minute. SEA THE STARS's Ruben Tanner got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SEA THE STARS's Fraser Tynan got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SEA THE STARS's Ruben Tanner got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SEA THE STARS's Jakub Knopek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Costa Rica fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Costa Rica's Axel Tasis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antony Clifford got free with Benito Sanz in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jakub Knopek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Alcocer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Puig in the 27th minute of play forced SEA THE STARS's goalkeeper Jakub Knopek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. SEA THE STARS's Ruben Tanner shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Benito Sanz but with some difficulty. After 30 played minutes, SEA THE STARS's Frankie Higgins shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SEA THE STARS reached it. After a defensive mix-up in SEA THE STARS's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jakub Knopek came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 played minutes SEA THE STARS got a freekick which was hit by Gwyn Pilgrim. 37 minutes into the match, Ruben Tanner dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 1-1. After 40 minutes of play, SEA THE STARS's Fraser Tynan made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute, Axel Tasis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Costa Rica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fraser Tynan was the one to do the kick off. Eliseo Noboa's late challenge caught a SEA THE STARS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SEA THE STARS booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Carballo lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 52 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Tuck in the 54th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Fraser Tynan managed to get in a good position for a shot. SEA THE STARS's supporters rose to their feet, but Fraser Tynan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fraser Tynan in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Franz Cardwell managed to get in a good position for a shot. SEA THE STARS's supporters rose to their feet, but Franz Cardwell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jakub Knopek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 70th minute of the match. Jakub Knopek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match Abel Carballo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jakub Knopek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Gwyn Pilgrim fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SEA THE STARS's protests and gave Gwyn Pilgrim a yellow card for diving instead. 82 minutes into the game, one of SEA THE STARS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fraser Tynan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. The SEA THE STARS manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Costa Rica to win.
