Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rob Kort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rob Kort read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Rob Kort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of the match. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute. A nice corner shot did that Cristian Sancho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rob Kort quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rob Kort. After a defensive mix-up in Biervliet's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rob Kort came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th match minute, Biervliet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ab van Zwam to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rob Kort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Rob Kort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Biervliet's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Biervliet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elco Jacobs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Filip de Vries came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Biervliet's Rob Kort. Rob Kort was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filip de Vries to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Biervliet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elco Jacobs to maneuver through the defense. Biervliet's Filip de Vries suffered a concussion in the 55th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 55 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Biervliet the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Elbert Valx came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Biervliet's Rob Kort got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Biervliet's Rob Kort proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Biervliet from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Biervliet's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rob Kort. That made the score 0-3 in the 66 minute of play. In the 74th minute, Biervliet's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 77th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rob Kort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rob Kort was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Biervliet's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Biervliet's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 88th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Kort saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Biervliet's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Biervliet's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Biervliet's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Camilo Gisbert got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 91 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rob Kort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ab van Zwam in the 96th minute of play. The Biervliet fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
