Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from I-Made 吕益益 in the 3rd minute of play. In the 15th minute Sebastião De Angelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If I-Made 吕益益 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when I-Made 吕益益 tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Primitivo Andino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kopparmora BK the free kick. A hard shot 65 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented Viktor Jansson managed to make a qualified save. Kopparmora BK's players were relieved. Cristian Sancho in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Jansson having to interfere. Viktor Jansson made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião De Angelis in the 86th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, I-Made 吕益益 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kopparmora BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but I-Made 吕益益 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philippe-Arnaud Volckaert hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 94th minute. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
