Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Playo Urruti made the kick off which started today's match. Juantxis Futbol Club's Anibal Cordoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Juantxis Futbol Club's Arturo Rivera got a free kick in the 10th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Cordoba having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Cordoba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 15 in the game by Ponc Roig from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anibal Cordoba having to make a save. Anibal Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of the match. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Juantxis Futbol Club's Playo Urruti. But to his dismay, Playo Urruti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Ponc Roig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juantxis Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 24th minute, Ponc Roig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juantxis Futbol Club's Anibal Cordoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play. In the 28thth minute of the game Playo Urruti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Arturo Rivera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Juantxis Futbol Club's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Cordoba came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Playo Urruti in the 36th minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Playo Urruti's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Juvenal Llorente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ponc Roig, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Llorente in the 57th minute of play. Playo Urruti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juvenal Llorente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Playo Urruti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paco Incera hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Playo Urruti came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes Juantxis Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Agamenón Vega. Juantxis Futbol Club made a substitution. Carolo Canyelles replaced Agamenón Vega. In the 81st minute, Playo Urruti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Juantxis Futbol Club's goalkeeper Anibal Cordoba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Midas Saboya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juantxis Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Midas Saboya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 98th minute, Juvenal Llorente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.
