Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ladislao Osasun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Angua FC's Ladislao Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute, one of Angua FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Angua FC. In the 17th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ladislao Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Angua FC's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ladislao Osasun. Ladislao Osasun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Angua FC's Ladislao Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play forced Angua FC's goalkeeper Ladislao Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ladislao Osasun. In the 41st minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Angua FC's Augusto Sagrario shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Vera but with some difficulty. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Eufemio in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Angua FC made a substitution. Ciriaco Endira replaced Amador Hustaz. Angua FC's Braulio Gartzi was substituted for Clodoveo Mercurio. After 54 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Augusto Sagrario who took care of the corner kick. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Angua FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Angua FC's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Osasun came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Sagrario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angua FC's Braulio Lopes was substituted for Calixto Landoff. Braulio Lopes took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Lopes in the 74th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ladislao Osasun in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of play forced Angua FC's goalkeeper Ladislao Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Lopes came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Eufemio in the 88th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador played a much better game than Angua FC and deserved their victory. The Angua FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
