Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Koby Wright kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Canada's Koby Wright got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Koby Wright came free, but Gregor Kobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Koby Wright in the 8th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Espen Steelers's goalie and right to Luka Harris. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Espen Steelers's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 10 minutes in the game, Rohan Watson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gregor Kobel having to interfere. Rohan Watson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Gregor Kobel made a huge save. Alain Berset sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Nino Schurter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Koby Wright came free, but Gregor Kobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Espen Steelers getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Alberto Giacometti hit a great ball. Gregor Kobel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koby Wright in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alain Berset in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jax Williamson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the game, Rohan Watson lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Gregor Kobel. Gregor Kobel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rohan Watson in the 35th minute of play. Gregor Kobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koby Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Odermatt to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rohan Watson in the 45th minute of play forced Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Gregor Kobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nino Schurter made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alain Berset in the 51st minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52 minutes Canada's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Williams Imholz who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Alberto Giacometti got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Rogelio Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jax Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Montez in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute Luka Harris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Kobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nino Schurter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jax Williamson having to interfere. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Paul Klee replaced Marco Odermatt. Canada made a substitution. Theo Burton replaced Rohan Watson. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Stan Wawrinka replaced Rogelio Montez. Gregor Kobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Burton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the game, Alain Berset recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jax Williamson. Alain Berset showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 78th minute, Theo Burton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregor Kobel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Filip Edwards had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jax Williamson made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Nino Schurter sent off a good shot on target. Nino Schurter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jax Williamson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nino Schurter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Jax Williamson made a huge save. When Canada's Filip Edwards in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espen Steelers's goalie prevented a goal.
