Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gilberto Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoffer Rodríguez in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, HeBr United's Elói de Amaral got a free kick in the 39th minute. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Dionísio having to interfere. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Dionísio. Gilberto Dionísio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Cristoffer Rodríguez made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoffer Rodríguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 58 minutes into the match, HeBr United's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Gilberto Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of HeBr United's Gilberto Dionísio. Gilberto Dionísio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Gilberto Dionísio managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomas Illescas in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilberto Dionísio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristoffer Rodríguez in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 74 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benjamim Ferreira who took care of the corner kick. 77 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Cui Chong Guang came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gilberto Dionísio, 2-3. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Cristoffer Rodríguez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Aílton Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Elói de Amaral hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Cui Chong Guang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
