Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristoffer Rodríguez kicked off to start the match. In the 11th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoffer Rodríguez in the 12th minute of play. Gilberto Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when HeBr United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Gilberto Dionísio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Benjamim Ferreira hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Aílton Almeida hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, HeBr United's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Gilberto Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Cristoffer Rodríguez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Dionísio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristoffer Rodríguez in the 43rd minute of play. Gilberto Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. HeBr United's Gilberto Dionísio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 55th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 56th minute. Cristian Sancho was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Gilberto Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gilberto Dionísio firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to HeBr United getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Dé Luz hit a great ball. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Dionísio having to interfere. Gilberto Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Dionísio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Benjamim Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. Gilberto Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 90th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Gilberto Dionísio made a huge save. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
