Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play forced Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Mihkel Aksalu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mihkel Aksalu was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Nacho Hernández's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Merrill Hancock made a great header on Dep. Moron's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. After 29 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihkel Aksalu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the match, Nacho Hernández dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-2. 35 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihkel Aksalu. Dep. Moron's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Mihkel Aksalu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Mihkel Aksalu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mihkel Aksalu came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gao Kun Ling made a kick off. Mihkel Aksalu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Dep. Moron's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Mihkel Aksalu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Gao Kun Ling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Gao Kun Ling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Hernández, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Mihkel Aksalu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihkel Aksalu. That made the score 1-6 after 71 minutes of play. Bob Hart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
