FC Graal's Roch Slazak got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hector Covarrubias fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Hector Covarrubias a yellow card for diving instead. Hector Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Alan Campos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juliusz Barycz. FC Graal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziemowit Filipkowski in the 39th minute of play. After the first half Paraguay were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Pardo was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Ziemowit Filipkowski put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziemowit Filipkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Paraguay booed when FC Graal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Pietrasz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Ziemowit Filipkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ziemowit Filipkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Graal's supporters rose to their feet, but Ziemowit Filipkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Roch Slazak came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juliusz Barycz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ziemowit Filipkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 94 minutes into the match, Roch Slazak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roch Slazak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC Graal could leave the field as winners, despite Paraguay having more of the ball for most of the match.
