In the 15th minute, Isidro Oliviero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atauri Salan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Barbudos FC booed when A.D. Puente Cantalojas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto-Carlos Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Isidro Oliviero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atauri Salan. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidro Oliviero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Erland Odman in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to A.D. Puente Cantalojas getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Erland Odman hit a great ball. Isidro Oliviero struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Atauri Salan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barbudos FC.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidro Oliviero to make the kick off. Atauri Salan made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Dionisio Chorche sent off a good shot on target. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Atauri Salan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Oliviero in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Barbudos FC's zone, Erland Odman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Abadia came out of the goal and Erland Odman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barbudos FC's Gareth Bala was substituted for Marciano Lope. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D. Puente Cantalojas's goalkeeper Atauri Salan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 60 minutes A.D. Puente Cantalojas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gareth Bala who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Barbudos FC's corner Gareth Bala fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Atauri Salan quite easily take care of the ball. A.D. Puente Cantalojas made a substitution. Emil Valström replaced Erland Odman. Barbudos FC were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after A.D. Puente Cantalojas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gareth Bala took the corner. The corner led Barbudos FC's Dionisio Chorche to fire away a dangerous shot which Atauri Salan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Atauri Salan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Beccari in the 76th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Franco Beccari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atauri Salan was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Kostas Masaboukas got a throw-in 81 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Emil Valström. With a little luck, A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Atauri Salan got control of the ball when Franco Beccari tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 86 minutes, Franco Beccari made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Atauri Salan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the match, A.D. Puente Cantalojas's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Beccari came free, but Atauri Salan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Although A.D. Puente Cantalojas had been in control for most of the match, Barbudos FC still came away with the win.
